Jake Ermer Named Vice President Distressed Assets
The Hogan Companies, headquartered in Annapolis, Maryland, today announced the appointment of Jake Ermer to the role of Vice President Distressed Assets.
Since joining the Hogan Companies as a land and commercial broker, Mr. Ermer has been involved with the closing of real estate transactions encompassing a variety of asset classes with an aggregate value of over $10 million dollars. Mr. Ermer has specialized in the marketing and sale of bank-owned properties as well as a broad range of land and residential properties. Mr. Ermer also has assisted Hogan Companies’ internal development team on a variety of projects including residential subdivisions, forest mitigation and third party consulting.
Representative transactions include:
- Representing an investor buyer in the sale of a 152 lot bank-owned community known as Southgate located in Stafford County, Virginia.
- The sale of a finished 11 lot single family community located in Accokeek, Prince George’s County known as Manning Overlook representing the buyer, D.R. Horton.
- Multiple bank-owned land transactions on Maryland’s Eastern Shore representing the Seller.
- Numerous residential foreclosure sales to investors and the subsequent resale of rehabbed and new homes.
Mr. Ermer’s primary geographic focus includes: Anne Arundel, Baltimore, Harford, and Central Maryland Counties.
Mr. Ermer was raised in Baltimore, Maryland and is a graduate of St. Mary’s College of Maryland with a degree in Economics. He is currently an active member in the Baltimore Chapter of the Urban Land Institute (ULI), ULI’s Young Leaders Group, and the Home Builders Association of Maryland (HBAM).
