Hogan Sells Calvert County Mixed Use Town Center Project
President and CEO, Larry Hogan announced that Hogan Companies VP of Land, Kevin Setzer represented Griffin Realty, LLC in the sale of Magnolia Landing, a 31.3 acre record-plat, mixed-use project located in the Prince Frederick Town Center of Calvert County.
Magnolia Landing, located off Dares Beach Road, is approved for 112 active adult lots planned as a zero lot line traditional neighborhood design community. The transaction also included a 5.34 acre commercial parcel fronting Dares Beach Road adjacent to Calvert High School. The property was purchased by a local Calvert County investment partnership for $1,250,000.
Setzer, a native of Calvert County, said “The Hogan Companies have been representing lenders, investors, and developers with stalled projects such as Magnolia Landing and repositioning them for today’s market. Magnolia is a prime example of an approved, well-located project that was affected by the economic downturn”.
This sale for Griffin Realty is just the latest completed transaction in the continuing success of the Hogan Companies, which has recently completed more than $30 million dollars in closed deals.
