Hogan Companies Sell Approved 393 Unit Renard Lakes Development 

Lawrence J. Hogan, Jr., President and CEO of the Hogan Companies headquartered in Annapolis, Maryland, announced today that the company recently brokered the sale of Renard Lakes, a 393-lot community located in Brandywine, Maryland.

Hogan Companies represented the seller, SCAD LLC. The community contains a mix of product types with 315 single family lots and 78 townhouse lots, located off Dyson Road along Route 301. The property was a former A.H. Smith surface mining operation which will be reclaimed. Hogan Companies introduced the purchasers, a North Carolina-based investment firm, to the project who paid $4.125 million for the 393 lots.

Kevin Setzer, Mark Prossner, and Tom Fiori of the Land and Commercial Brokerage Division handled the transaction. Within the past year, Renard Lakes is the second large land transaction that Hogan Companies has handled in Southern Prince George’s County. In late December 2008, Hogan represented Pulte Homes in the sale of their 271-lot Potomac Chase community.
