Hogan Companies Expands

Lawrence J. Hogan, Jr., President and CEO of the Hogan Companies headquartered in Annapolis, Maryland, announced today the further expansion of the company.

Paul D. Ellington, former President of GOPAC, a political action group focused on recruiting and training candidates for political office, will be joining the company and focus on business development.  Previously, Mr. Ellington served as the Executive Director of the Maryland Republican Party from 1999 to 2003 and also served as Chief of Staff to former Lt. Governor Michael Steele during the Ehrlich Administration.  He also served as Bowie City Councilman from 1998 to 2002, having been elected for two full terms.

Jacob N. Ermer, a mortgage industry executive, previously with Chevy Chase Bank and K Bank will be joining the Land and Commercial Division. A resident of Annapolis, he graduated from St. Mary’s College in Maryland. Also joining the Land and Commercial Team is Erik Lyon, an Annapolis resident and graduate of Washington College.

Victor W. White, a graduate of DePaul University, has moved to the area and will also be joining the company. Mr. White has held an Illinois Real Estate License since 2004 and has been associated with the Jerome H. Meyer & Co. as Property Manager for 26 properties in Chicago.

Licensed in Delaware and Maryland, Jennifer E. Wheeler comes to the Hogan Companies Residential Division after two years as a custom homes project coordinator on the Delaware beaches. She is well-positioned to serve the Hogan Companies clients from metropolitan Maryland to the Atlantic Ocean.
