Michael Sponseller is a Vice President with HOGAN's Brokerage and Land Development divisions, with responsibilities spanning the Baltimore and Washington metropolitan areas. Mr. Sponseller has managed a wide ranging transaction portfolio including a variety of transaction and product types, but with a current focus on mixed-use, infill, and urban redevelopment projects.
 
Some of Mr. Sponseller’s current clients include Integrity Partners, Gilbane Development, G & G Land LLC, AGI Devco, Pleasants Development, Mountain Road Partners, and D.R. Horton Inc.
 
Prior to joining HOGAN, Mr. Sponseller was a part of the Corporate Advisory Service teams at CB Richard Ellis and Studley in Denver, Colorado. During that time he advised landlords and corporate tenants such as The Amstar Group, Morgan Stanley Dean Witter, Experian, URS Corporation, Toshiba, Liberty Mutual Insurance, and others.

Mr. Sponseller is a graduate of the Leeds School of Business at the University of Colorado, and received his Masters in Business Administration from the Graziadio School at Pepperdine University in Malibu, California.  He is a member of the Urban Land Institute, Home Builders’ Association of Maryland, and the MNCBIA State Government & Legislative Affairs Committee.
 
Mr. Sponseller is a native of Frederick County, Maryland, learning the basics of residential development and homebuilding from the family business.
