As Vice President of Land at the Hogan Companies, Mr. Setzer focuses on land and commercial brokerage with an emphasis on residential developments. He has been involved with closing transactions encompassing a variety of asset classes with an aggregate value of over $37 million dollars. Since 2005, Mr. Setzer has marketed and sold over 3,000 residential lots, assisted tenants and landlords with office/retail leasing, and has sold both office and warehouse properties. He also advises buyers and sellers on a variety of other transactions including woodland mitigation and front foot benefit investments. Recently, Mr. Setzer has been representing numerous regional banks, developers, builders, and private land owners in the disposition of real estate assets at all stages of entitlement and development.

Mr. Setzer was raised in Owings, Maryland and is a graduate of the University of Maryland’s Robert H. Smith School of Business with a degree in Finance. He is currently an active member in the Baltimore and Washington Chapters of the Urban Land Institute (ULI), ULI’s Young Leaders Group, and the Maryland National Capital Builder Industry Association (MNCBIA). He is also a founding member of the Annapolis Chapter of the University of Maryland Alumni Association and serves of the board of directors for Calvert County’s Academy of Finance program.  In 2011, Setzer was honored by Bisnow Media as one of Washington D.C.’s “Top 35 Under 35” in commercial real estate.

Setzer’s primary geographic focus includes: Anne Arundel County, Prince George’s County, Howard County, and Southern Maryland Counties.
