Diane Langhorne joins the Hogan Companies with vast business experience and
knowledge within the automotive, marine, publishing and real estate
industries. She has successfully launched over 40 major corporate
acquisitions and developed strategic processes for clients such as
Sotheby’s, Corcoran, Volvo Car Corporation, Outboard Marine Corporation,
Hachette Publishing and NRT.
Ms. Langhorne has an extensive management background in overall business
operations, corporate acquisitions and mergers, market development and
corporate planning. She has created multi-faceted programs for organizations
that have lead to national and international implementation. She has been
responsible for major North American product and service initiatives that
have led to extensive market share. Ms. Langhorne has created, directed and
executed many programs in the areas of strategic business development,
branding, operations, marketing and sales management, market research,
change and transition management, as well as improvement and synergy
programs for overall business structures.
Her corporate career began in 1975 with Volvo Penta of America, the marine
division of Volvo Car Corporation. After 15 years of organizational
directing and managing North American marketing operations for Volvo, she
joined Outboard Marine Corporation in 1989, a Fortune 500 Company with the
World Headquarters located outside of Chicago. There she directed Marketing
and Corporate Planning and Development which lead to over 19 major
acquisitions and mergers.
In 1992, Ms. Langhorne started and launched her own marketing agency, Market
Vision, Inc. Market Vision, Inc. provided clients with sophisticated
expertise, development, guidance and project management in many business
arenas. For the past several years, she has played an integral part in
orchestrating, launching and implementing major real estate acquisitions and
mergers for NRT LLC, the nation's largest residential real estate brokerage
company, with approximately 950 offices, 56,000 sales associates and 7,500
employees operating in 35 major metropolitan areas.
Ms. Langhorne attended Old Dominion University, holds an active Maryland
Real Estate License and continuously participates within several community
organizations. She resides in Annapolis, Maryland.
